Miss Laney is 2 years old today!!! She is so cute and such a ham and loves shoes.
Here she is with her big cousin Moira.
She is getting to be a very good talker. She will repeat anything and loves to say thing like
"mommy, I big".
Here she is eating ice out of the water bottle bucket. Yummy, so good on a hot day!

Here is Scott walking away from his plane after the "in-air" change of command.
Above are all the guys and gals in the squadron doing their group cheer. It was REALLY loud!
Almost all the Thompson's made it to the party!! Pictured above are Elsie, Dana, Dennis, John, Chris, Pam, Skip, Colleen, Maureen (who came all the way from Massachusetts), Dan and Jane.

Reagan
These photos are taken by Brenda and this is one of my favorite ever. I love how Larry and Reagan are looking at each other. You can't tell but Larry has Reagan on the riding lawn mower. Brenda says she was pretty thrilled.
I love this one of Miss Reagan as well. It is taken on the front porch of the old playhouse that was my mom's when she was a little girl. Larry recently re-furbished it and it is wonderful!!!
This is another favorite of baby Elsie and the playhouse in the background.
I love this one as well of Levi in mom and Larry's backyard looking toward the forest and the sun rays--beautiful!!

Granddaughters
Here is our oldest granddaughter, Katya signing the Change of Command guest registry.
Second oldest granddaughter Charlie, looking at her flowers from daddy.
Our youngest granddaughter Elsie, being held by grandpa while her mom takes pictures.
Second to youngest is Laney, enjoying the blue gummy bears at the party. I'm sorry to say that I don't have room on this post for precious Reagan, our 3rd granddaughter. They are ALL a joy and I will post Reagan's picture soon!!

Change of Command
There are so many great pictures of the Change of Command weekend that it will take me several posts to publish them all. These were taken in the hanger before the ceremony. What a wonderful, special day and we are so proud of (Skipper) Scott!!

Our Daughter the Cow
Candace is officially the COW (Commanding Officers Wife) and this is what their house looked like the morning after the other wives did this work in the middle of the night before the Change of Command Ceremony and party.
The cow decorations were so amazing and funny. They even brought bales of hay for this big cow!!
Below is the big flag flanked by the other flags behind the chairs before the ceremony that took place in a hanger.

Denny's Window Washing
I know a lot of you are wondering what the heck Dennis is doing to contribute to our household here in Colorado. Well, he has made one of his favorite chores into a business....hence,
"Denny's Window Washing" !
Here is the van outfitted with ladders. He is working as a sub-contractor for "Dr. Glass Window Washing", as an employee for "Brother's Window Washing" and for himself as "Denny's Window Washing". So far he has mostly been working for Dr. Glass and Brother's but it is giving him a lot of great experience learning the ropes. (Or should I say the ladders and squeezes?) Who would have known there was so much involved in washing windows...especially here in Colorado with storm windows, basement windows and all sorts and sizes of upstairs windows and skylights!!Here is a shot of the outside of our house. I took this picture just a few minutes ago and as you can tell there is a storm brewing---lots of wind and thunder and a little rain so far.
Here is the view from out our front door. This is facing west and the mountains are out there somewhere.
Here is the how the inside of the van looks these days. It's nice that the old Silver Bullet is making us some snapping cash.
