We arrived in Portland Sunday afternoon and went for a great walk in Forest Park yesterday. Poor Brenda was moving very slowly. Dennis and Craig rode their bikes the entire 11 miles out and back in just a little more time we took to walk 1 mile out and back. Today is my 55th birthday and it is also Elsie's due date. Brenda had a lot of contractions last night but nothing that progressed. Brenda is thinking it might be a few days yet so Dennis and I are might drive to Hood River tomorrow and meet up with my brother Mark for a day or two.
In the mean time, Brenda and the girls blew up balloons and are making a brownie cake for my birthday. The girls are having a blast with the balloons. We are going to have margs and tostadas and brownie cake tonight. Yum!
