We had some rough weather on the 6 hour drive from Lake City to Steamboat. There was a lot of wilderness and beautiful country to see.
More scenes along the way... We had to wait out the rain to find a place to stop and make our sandwiches.
The rain was clearing out by the time we rolled into town.
Kids tubing on the river. It looked like SO much fun but I couldn't talk Dennis into trying it.
Instead of tubing we found a cool river-side bar and where we had good drinks and fish and chips for dinner while watching the tubers go by on the river. Fun times!
